Ever wondered what a day at the Renew Vintage Kantha HQ looks like? From our morning drinks to packing orders, filming content and chatting with our amazing community, we’re taking you on a full day with us so you can see exactly how your favourite kantha clothing and recycled silks make it from our hands to your hands.

A DITL at Kantha HQ!

Kaitlin’s usually first in the door, followed by Brooke, while Hannah rolls in last after wrangling her toddler. Sometimes we're joined by husbands/friends/children/mothers too, but for the most part we're a mighty trio taking on the world!

Once we’re all gathered, it’s time for our morning fuel - Brooke and Kaitlin are all about their coffee fix, Hannah indulges in a cosy cup of cacao. The good vibes kick in, the tunes are turned on, the office buzzes to life and we’re ready to tackle the day at Kantha HQ.

Hannah gets busy checking order details and setting up her packing station. Kaitlin dives into social media and customer emails. And Brooke takes on whatever fun (or not-so fun) business-owner tasks that need tending to - placing kantha orders, troubleshooting issues, pulling details together for whatever important thing is happening at the time, or working on new designs (like our upcoming Bohemian Basics collection, very exciting!).

Then Kaitlin gets to work tagging upcoming collections, organising and uploading files, folding and shelving clothes all ready for drop day. Meanwhile, Hannah straightens out shipping questions, packs orders and prepares everything for our afternoon post(wo)man pickup.

After lunch, Brooke does photography and we either shoot content for social media or create something fun for our community Facebook group, like a Facebook live or unboxing videos. We try to fit in as many customer requests as possible when planning content; we appreciate your feedback!

To get us through the afternoons we munch on snacks, often baked fresh by Hannah (usually chocolate related🤭), and tie up any last tasks before finishing up for the day.

We love being able to do what we do and we’re so grateful for this small-but-mighty team. To be able to work with friends and do the work we love is a blessing. But we couldn’t do it without our amazingly supportive kantha community - being able to connect with a global network of women with a shared passion for Kantha is something we do not take for granted!
