CONTENT & MARKETING ASSISTANT (PART-TIME/CASUAL)

Renew Vintage is a producer and seller of superior quality, custom designed clothing and textiles created from vintage fabrics. The business has been servicing customers from all over the world, via its online store, retail partnerships and select events since 2008.

Today, the business primarily stocks a collection of bespoke Indian Kantha-styled pieces, handmade with love and offered in small runs to ensure uniqueness for their owners.

Due to ongoing growth, Renew is seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help the founder with spreading the word about the latest range and the brand as a whole.

Based within 60-minutes of Renew’s Tamborine Mountain HQ, this role would suit a confident and capable woman with a strong interest in, and passion for, alternative/bohemian, sustainable fashion. A strong practical knowledge of digital and social media marketing, a proven talent for content creation and curation, and great written and spoken communication skills is essential. Working knowledge of tools including Canva and Later (or equivalent content scheduling app) will be highly regarded.

With the scope of work starting at 10-15 hours per week initially, we are looking for an individual with a real affinity for what Renew Vintage is offering to help bring our wares to life.

A full drivers licence and access to a car will be required, as will a laptop and good quality content capture equipment (cameras/phone).

Tasks are expected to include:

  1. Ideate, create, schedule and share social media content to promote the Renew Vintage brand, new and existing products, offers and events - all to be developed in consultation with business owner.

Asset outputs to include:

  • Still images (on location or in creative context, to include modelling of items as required).
  • Video footage with relevant editing applied (as above).
  • Post copy including relevant tags.

              Content to include:

  • Product feature posts.
  • Product carousels.
  • Short-form video reels.
  • Brand story and community interest posts.
  • Fortnightly blog post to boost SEO.

              Channels to include:

  • Instagram
  • Facebook
  • TikTok
  • Renew Vintage website (blog)
  1. Modelling of selected new stock for online store photography (image capture may not always be required).
  1. Management, support, communications and reporting around affiliate network, where key customers, supporters and partners receive discounts, exclusives and referral benefits/bonuses in exchange for promoting brand products via their networks and presence on selected social media platforms.
  1. Support with brand community management, to include engaging with customers, responding to queries and enquiries, requesting feedback, researching new avenues to grow community size and strength, and promoting items and activities with CTAs in conversational format across relevant digital platforms.
  1. Other marketing and promotional responsibilities as required, in consultation with business owner.
